Among organizations and individuals who are actively involved in upskilling and reskilling, what are the trends, gaps and areas for improvement?

We surveyed over 2,200 organizations and individuals globally in late 2020 to get answers.

Among the findings:

  • 55% of employees want to learn new skills or upgrade their existing ones, while 43% said they want to stay relevant in their roles.
  • Across all company sizes, team leads and managers were by far the most likely to receive or be required to take skills training.
  • 60% of companies said employees hadn’t yet used newly learned skills because they were for future career development or personal development, rather than immediate practical application.
